      Hi Donna,
I wanted to forward this email to you about a PechaKucha in Akron (but I didn’t have your email in store). You and Joe might enjoy this! Pasted below:

I’d like to invite you to an evening you won’t forget celebrating Akron’s creative talent in an enjoyable evening setting on Friday, November 13th at The Bit Factory. Not only is this a great opportunity to see the Akron Global Business Accelerator’s state of the art The Bit Factory, but it is also the Inaugural Akron PechaKucha. If you aren’t familiar with PechaKucha (PK), it started in Tokyo in 2003 as a way for creative individuals to showcase their work to the general public. It has proved incredibly successful and has spread to 800 cities worldwide. Now it’s Akron’s turn to host our very own PechaKucha.

This will be a fun evening for you and friends. All are invited and there is no cost for this inaugural event.

The 20slidex20second format makes for a fast paced evening. Presentations will move quickly, leaving plenty of time for people to socialize and enjoy one another’s company. Refreshments will be provided, including brews from Thirsty Dog Brewing Company. Doors open at 7PM and presentations will begin promptly at 8 PM. This is an event you won’t want to miss. The Knight Foundation, The Bit Factory, the Akron Accelerator, and Akron Law are sponsors.
