Cascade Village Public Art Mapping Project

Donna Webb Story Circles Cascade Village map project

Elizabeth Park 1952/ Cascade Village 2011

Linda Barrett, Associate Professor of Geography designed a map at my request.  She made two maps, above is Elizabeth Park from an aerial photograph taken in 1952.  Below this map is another, a satellite view of Cascade Village taken in 2011.   Residents will view the maps as a way of remembering how the landscape of the Cascade Village community has changed in the last fifty years.  Residents who have looked at the map will be invited to tell stories about growing up the the Elizabeth Park/Cascade Village neighborhood.

Hi Donna! It looks like you are currently working on this project. I don’t know if this is the best way to reach you but it might work. I have been reading about you on the net. The studio looks very cool. I also saw a little youtube clip on Joe (disappointed there wasn’t more). I think of you often. It has been a few years now, but it feels like yesterday. I would like to communicate with you if that’s OK. Can you tell me how to reach you more directly? Gros Bisous, Tom

        Hey Tom,
It’s been a year since we went canoeing. Hope you and yours are well.
